requisite weekend picture post...

Lola and I doing some serious snuggling. Notice the evil eye she give the camera.

The snake Murphy found in our backyard. You have to understand just HOW DIFFICULT it was for me to get this close to take a picture. I turned my back and H "disposed" of it.

Dinner H made us the other night. The steak was for him (that's all he ate. And ate almost the entire thing) and the artichokes were for me. YUMMY! One of my big cravings! I ate 3 that night and the other 3 over the next 2 days as "Snacks"

Lola and I had a little photo shoot the other day. She is sooooooooooo cute. Here are some more:

And like always, I'll end out with a picture of my magically growing belly (and hips.) My old stretch marks from my adolescent hip growth spurt are more noticeable lately :( which I am devastated about, of course.

I am 16 weeks along today, and this morning as I was laying in bed, I felt a little "pop" like an air bubble popping in my uterus. It was Peanut, saying good morning! I've felt little flutters and quickening, but this is the first little nudge that was so strong. What a wonderful feeling to wake up to!!! Almost as good as waking up to morning sex. A totally different kind of good, of course.
